CALL FOR MEMORANDA

The Senate Joint Committee on Communications, Science & Technology, ICT & Cyber Crimes, and Primary Healthcare & Communicable Diseases invite the general public to an investigative Public Hearing to determine the status of 5G Network in Nigeria and its Technological Impact on Nigerian Citizens".

Pursuant to this, the Joint Committee hereby calls for memoranda and invites the general public and telecom stakeholders including, but not limited to, the following:

8. Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT)
9. National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP)
10. National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI)
11. National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA)
12. National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA)
13. National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)
14. Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)
15. Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)
16. All Professional Bodies in the Telecoms Sector e.g. ATCON; ALTON; GSMA; NATCOMS etc
17. Interconnect Houses
18. Telecoms Equipment Manufacturers
19. Other Stakeholders/Interested Parties/Persons

The Investigative Public Hearing is scheduled as follows:

Date: Thursday, 25th February, 2021

Venue: Conference Room 022, Senate New Building

Time: 2:00pm

All memoranda should be submitted in thirty (30) copies to the Joint Committee's Secretariat in Room SB61, Senate Wing, White House Building, National Assembly Complex, Abuja. on or before Wednesday, 24th February, 2021.
