NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA NURSES AND MIDMIVES(NANNM) KATSINA STATE PRESS CONFERENCE
Date Posted: 05/Aug/2020
Protocols

Gentlemen of the press, you would recall that a few days ago,the katsina state command of the Nigeria Police Force, through their spokesman SP Gambo, paraded two women who claimed to be Nurses working with Okmos clinic kofar kaura who connived to hand over a newly born baby to a third party.

Our association swung into action immediately to authenticate the identity, membership and qualifications  of the claimants.

We visited the hospital and interviewed the proprietor Dr E E Eze who confirmed and admitted to us that the two arrested persons (females) Misira S Tijjani of filin Canada quarters katsina and Grace Ejigu of Shagari lowcost housing estate katsina were FAKE and IMPOSTORS and NOT Nurses nor MIDWIVES. He also confessed that the two impostors were not trained and qualified as Nurses.
We made a written complaint to the deputy commissioner of police in charge of crime in whose office and before everyone present, they confessed that they were not NURSES,whereas a day before, they told the police authority that they were NURSES.

To our members,I urge you to remain calm and assure you that these impostors will be prosecuted for impersonation and defamation of character. We shall pursue this matter to its logical conclusion. This conference was called up to clear our name and image as a professional association.that the paraded impostors were not NURSES neither were they members of this association.
