Office of the Director FCT Pension Department Announcement on Biometric Verification Exercise for Federal Capital Territory Administration Pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) wishes to announce the commencement of the Biometric Verification Exercise for pensioners of the FCTA under the Defined Benefit Scheme (the Old Pension Scheme).

The exercise will hold in Abuja from Monday 16th to Friday 27th March, 2020, at Cyprian Ekwensi Centre for Arts and Culture, Area 10, Garki, Abuja, from 9am-5pm daily in the following order:

24th – 27th March 2020

01 – 06

In order to be verified, it is mandatory for all pensioners to provide the original and photocopies of the following documents:

1. Letter of First Appointment

2. Letter of Last Promotion

3. Letter of Retirement

4. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age

5. Evidence of Change of Name (where applicable)

6. BVN Registration Slip with clear picture (stamped and signed by the bank)

Verification of Sick and Infirm Pensioners:

Mobile verification will be conducted for sick and infirm pensioners at their place of residence within the FCT.

Verification of Pensioners outside FCT and in Diaspora:

Pensioners residing outside FCT should contact FCT Pension Department on 081 8377 5313 while Pensioners in diaspora should contact FCT Pension Department on +234 805 036 8093 from Monday, 30th March for guidance on the conduct of their Verification.
