Asokoro District Hospital Nurses Threaten Strike Action Over Assault on CNO

Asokoro district hospital nurses on no work parade as chief nursing officer was beaten up while on duty by a police officer for requesting of him that he make a payment of #500 only for random blood sugar test.
 
The assaulted nurse was reported to have sustained lacerations that were sutured and was placed on bed rest before being discharged yesterday. 
 
The Nurses association are threatening to go on indefinite strike if justice is not gotten and the police officer who assaulted the CNO brought to book
 
Reports also state that NANNM Asokoro district is already in action even as the NANNM chairperson was among the team  of nurses who took part in the peaceful parade protest.
