Bring Back Our Pride; A Letter To The World By Ademiju Solomon RN
Date Posted: 28/May/2018
This is my letter to the world
The world where my caring soul resides
The proficient mind that calls for fair judgement
The justice of our noble profession that stands above humanity
The pride of our enormous work deserve an accolade
The unity of all health team produces a successful operation
This is my letter to the world
That never gave space for shear equity among health workers
The simple news nature told with tender majesty
The majestic pride of our noble profession
The profession that has been raped and denied justice
In a world where Doctors think they are superior to other health teams

This is my letter to the world
That treats us unfairly by giving us Medical Doctors
Doctors that gushes about their madical ambition
Their arrogance in times of ward and theatre management
The superiority that causes unending rift among health personnel
Causing incessant death of innocent inhabitants of our colossal Nation
This is my letter to the world
Bring back the pride of a united and distinctive health team
The Nurses hold the fort all day and night putting up with patients
The Pharmacist formulates chemical together to produce an effective drug
The lab Technicians carry out a productive investigation on the blood
And the Doctor prescribe and fight for the life of the dying soul on the theatre table
These are the team of professional that sum up to be our pride in the medical world.
