ICN Call For Nominations For Student And Novice Nurses To The Nursing Now Campaign Board

You will be aware that ICN is working closely with the Nursing Now campaign team. The campaign will launch in early 2018 and will aim to raise the status and profile of nursing globally so that it can make an even greater contribution to improving health and well-being.
There will be a Campaign Steering Board comprising of 20 people to oversee the campaign. This will include 2 student/novice nurse representatives.  ICN President, Annette Kennedy, will be a member of this Campaign Steering Board.
Nursingworld can authoratively report that Nominations are now being sought for these young nurse Board representative and full details of the criteria for appointment and the selection process are attached.
Please share this information with your Student Associations and/or the student/novice nurse leaders within your Association.  
ICN is working with the Global Association of Student and Novice Nurses (GASNN) to identify a total of 10 nominations to then be submitted to the Nursing Now! Appointments Committee for their consideration.
Those nominating (you can nominate yourself or be nominated by someone else) should submit a covering letter saying why the person should be appointed, a 1 page CV and a short statement from the nominee confirming their willingness to be considered. Please pay particular attention to the commitment required to undertake these roles.
Please forward all nominations from your Student Associations and/or Student/Novice Nurse leaders within your organisation to Howard Catton by 29 October 2017.
