INTERNSHIP: NUNSA President Restates Committment, Declares One Week Fasting

The National president of the nigerian univerisities nursing students association (NUNSA) Sir (Gen). Ozu Obhosamologi Frederick (Jnr.) has wished all NUNSITES, WANSAITES, NUNSA ALUMNIES, SCHOOL OF NURSING STUDENTS, LECTURERS OF NURSING DEPARTMENTS, STAFFS OF THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL OF NIGERIA, FELLOWS OF THE WEST AFRICAN COLLEGE OF NURSING , NANNA MEMBERS a happy and prosperous new year. 
In a statement issued to Nursingworld Nigeria, he welcomed all NUNSAITES back on campus on resumption of academic activities and urged them to remain focused on their academics adding that students are the leaders of tomorrow.
Furthermore, the national president advised the entire nursing students to distance themselves from anything such as violence on campus stressing that nursing is a noble profession and students of the profession are not expected to behave like others exept in exceptional ways and should always know thier right as potential professionals in the health sector and should not allow themselves to be robbed of their fundamental rights. 
He further restated his committment to the struggle of undergraduate nurses inernship saying he will never relent in fighting for the freedom of nurses at the university undergraduate level and beyond.
He promised to do everything within his might to make this internship a reality no matter what it takes to make it come to pass
In closing, he called on all lovers and fans of the nursing science as a noble profession especially the university undergraduates to seek the face of the almighty God for internship implementation breakthrough and used the medium to declear a one week prayer and fasting for the implementation of undergraduate nurses internship in Nigeria starting from monday 13th january 2014, because with God all things are possible.
