the position reports to the project manager. this is an assistant mananger position. the successful candidate will coordinate and provide assistance for maternal and neonatal health care service delivery related activities. will participate in development of criteria fo selection of TBAs, fomwan and ETS volunteers that will be engaged for project implementation. s/he will also ensure that selection of TBAs and FOMWAN volunteers is adhered to, and will plan, design and implement recommended processess. tools and systems to implement the project quality assurance plan as per the donor directions and interntional quality standards. she/he will support the project quality assurance plan as per the donor directions and international quality standards. she/he will support the project manager in coordinating training activities including mentoring at the state level and support capacity building of serviceproviders in the health facilities. he will also ensure that quality services are providedby TBAs and FOMWAN volunteers. he will prepare and submit detailed progress reports on quality standards on a quarterly, biannual and annual basis. will maintain a cordial and respectfull relationship for interdepartmental harmony by timely submissions, communications and followup on assignments with sufficent lead times as perthe work plans. demonstrating willingness and abiliy o adjust quickly rapidly to changing priorities, multiple demands and complex situations are key attributes.


-first degree in nursing, an MPH will be an added advantage, minimum of 6 years post NYSC exp, three of which must have been spent working in a similar capacity, computer literate and familiar with NGO working environment, fluency in englishand hausa,
