Have you worked at a senior level in health care, managed multiple and complex relationships and are you an articulate and persuasive advocate for the nursing profession? Then ICN needs you!
ICN headquarters are looking for a nurse with experience of working for an international organisation or in an international role; someone who understands the systems and processes related to policy and political decision making at an international level and who is committed to improving access to and the quality of healthcare around the world.
With expertise in developing nursing education and/or regulation policy, the ideal candidate has also worked on health systems strengthening and transformation; is a team player who is flexible and adaptable and is both confident to challenge and has the maturity to find consensus.
The post requires current registration with a recognised nursing regulatory body and current membership in a national nurses association. The candidate should have a relevant post-graduate degree in nursing, public health, public policy or administration, or related field (minimum a master’s). Excellent working proficiency in English is essential and a working knowledge of French and Spanish is preferred.
You have experience of undertaking policy analysis and evidence reviews, leading strategic reviews, writing a range of policy documents from briefings to reports and delivering high quality products sometimes under tight deadlines. Permanent contract at 100%
