FHIS NANNM Writes To Its Members As FMOH Moves To Re-Introduce Non-Skipping
Date Posted: 15/Feb/2017
The NAC members of the Federal Health Institutions Sector NANNM has writen to its members concerning moves by the Federal Ministry Of Health to re-intoduce non-skipping and redesignation of its members incontavience to a court order.

In a letter obtained by nursingworld tittled "DISOBEDIENCE OF COURT JUDGEMENT" dated 13th February 2017 and signed by the National Secretary Com. Gambo Danfulani Mirnga, the letter called for all FHI Units to come together and reject all actions by the FMOH to bring about the stagnation of the nursing profession. The letter reads in full below:

The attention of NANNM FHI-Sector's National Administrative Council (NAC) has been drawn to the illegal re-introduction of non-skipping, re-Designation and Stagnation of our members by the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) with the aim of implementing same in all the Federal Health Institutions across the nation, these actions are clear disrespect to the Rule of Law.

It is sad and vexatious to note that an already decided case by a Court of Competent Jurisdiction (at its Apex level `NIC') is being ignored in contempt of the Court's Ruling.

In view of the above, the NAC unequivocally direct all FHI Units to condemn the action of the FMOH and reject in its entirety, all that have to do with non-skipping, re-designation and stagnation.
